City of residence: Layton, UT
Length of time "in the scene": 4 years
Occupation: Alterations tailor for Hill Air Force Base.
Education: Graduated from Mountain High in 1997.
Musical Taste: "Switchblade Symphony, Mission UK, London After Midnight, Tori Amos, Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Concrete Blond, Siouxsie and the Banshees, any band on the Projekt label."
Distinctions in appearance: "I love old-fashioned and antique clothing. I am a redhead, therefore I'm naturally very pale."
Hobbies, activities, interests: "Painting, drawing and other visual arts are my main interests. Sewing, I sew much of my own clothing. I enjoy any type of dancing."
Spiritual, philosophical, religious affiliation: "I don't believe in organized religion. Whatever exists between me and my perception of 'God' is of a private nature. I feel no need to prove my faith or beliefs to anyone but myself."
Goals, dreams: "I'm not exactly sure of 'what I want to be when I grow up,' but I have plans of attending college to leave room for options. I'm not very hard to please, and I don't care about excessive amounts of money. I want a simple life with the freedom to be who I am." She'd also like to do fashion designing and spend time in New Orleans.
Do you consider yourself gothic?: "I never thought myself to be gothic until I was questioned about it. I wasn't exactly sure what to say. But, I guess if I must be labeled, gothic would be the most appropriate label I can think of. I'm not ashamed to be gothic. I've met some gothics who are outstanding, beautiful people. I just don't agree with anyone being labeled. Gothic is everything that is beautiful through my eyes. It is the soft touch of velvet. It is the sepulchral, symphonic and soft sound of very loud gothic music. Gothic is fantasy. It is charm, and it charms. Gothic is darkness and forever night. It is the stars and the moon. Gothic is eyeliner. It is pale skin. Gothic is black."
