Length of time in the scene: "Uh, well... since it existed... I don't mean to boast or anything, but I was dragged into it since I saw the first signs of it, somewhere around the late 70s, you know, when Joy Division came out and things like this..."

Occupation: "Multimedia producer and video game designer for a company belonging to the state television company for the moment, but soon to be changed, I don't know to what... I am also starting a small freelance activity as web designer."

Education: "I have a PhD in Theatre and have made some post lauream specialization course in the same field My essay for the degree was on Theatre Anthropology, concerning a Muslim confraternity of Maroc and their possession rites."

Musical taste: "Mostly old gothic style, but not only... favorite bands are surely Sisters of Mercy, Christian Death and New Model Army I also like to listen to classical music, especially Mozart (and especially the Don Giovanni) and occasionally to some Celtic music."

Distinctions in appearance: "I have about a dozen tattoos, mostly on my arms, and I'd like to get more if I had the money, and I have for earrings... I like to wear a lot of rings and I have my hair cut in a mohawk but very long, generally tied in a pony tail behind my back."

Hobbies, activities, interests: "Music (been playing the guitar and song-writing for more than ten years in several bands, though not in one at the moment), literature (both writing poetry and reading, especially fantasy and gothic fiction or historical essays, favourite authors include T. Pratchett, E. A. Poe, H. P. Lovecraft, O. Wilde) and games, especially tridimensional fantasy war games like Warhammer, WH40k and Necromunda."

Spiritual, philosophical, religious affiliation: "I am not a true believer in anything, at least for the moment. I am still searching, and lately I have been finding that a lot of my beliefs match with those of Wicca."

Goals, dreams: "Only one: to get back with the one I really love and make her happy forever."

Do you consider yourself gothic?: "I think so, yes. I recognized myself in it as soon as I saw it appear. I never before thought there were others feeling the same way I did. Gothic is a state of mind mainly, not something you see from the outside. It's the affinity with the darkness inside of us that others prefer to deny."
