City of Residence: Salt Lake City, UT

Age: 18

Length of time "in the scene": 3 ½ years

Occupation: "Will be in retail"

Education: "Currently on Home Hospital." She's a sophomore at Central High School now, at home after having a baby girl.

Musical taste: "INXS, Cindi Lauper (basically 80's), some 90's pop like Spice Girls, anything with a beat except rave."

Distinctions in appearance: "Some wild accessories like purses made of fake grass, or plaid shoes, brilliant red clothes, underwear (lingerie), and secondhand clothes. I like to stand out.

Hobbies, activities, interests: "Dancing, people, modeling, being on camera. I like to make videos."

Spiritual, philosophical, religious affiliation: "Wiccan." She said she liked it better than normal religions, it was more down to earth. She plans on raising her child to be Wiccan.

Goals, dreams: "I want to work as a model, then fashion designer. I'd like to move to Eugene, Seattle or Portland, Oregon." She likes new experiences and traveling. She also is interested in maybe working for a costume shop or clothing store in the near future.

Do you consider yourself gothic?: "Yes and no. I've always thought Lilly Munster and Morticia Adams were the most beautiful women on earth. Ever since I was ten, I've wanted to be them. I have this passion with darkness, its elegance. I've certainly always been different than "the norm". However, there seems to be this ongoing outcasting that gothics do since Java Jive [a former coffee shop in Sugarhouse] closed down. It seems that people don't interact. It creates ignorance among us." She said that it seems everyone calls everyone else a baby bat. She's not comfortable with people trying to put on the "I'm so gothic" act. She views gothics as "an elegant, almost regal, bunch of people who have been outcasts all their lives and decided to make the best of it." She also thinks that some gothics tend to be judgmental and self-conscious. The clothes and makeup are often just a front, a mask for the real depression that some feel.
